Abu Fadika (born December 21, 1987) better known by his stage name, AbFad, is a Sierra Leonean singer born in London, United Kingdom.[1]

AbFad is known in the Sierra Leone music industry for his 2015 hit single featuring Nigerian musical and dance act, "McGalaxy", for a song titled, "Banana Sugar".[2][3][4] It is believed that after the collaboration with Nigerian Superstar McGalaxy was when AbFad got his big break and recognition in the Afro-pop scene, taking his music and songs like "Touch across the continent of Africa.

AbFad has been a successful name in the singing industry of Sierra Leone. In 2017, AbFad collaborated with CAMEROON music star (Yong Flo) and released their first official collaboration and single titled, "F*CK SH*T UP*.[5] His other songs include, "SH'E GOE'S",[6] "Ororo" and "Touch" . He also contributed in a remix of French Montana's popular song, "Unforgettable" in collaboration with Ya Minko from Gabon, Plex Major also from Sierra Leone and Erwin Dollar from Cameroon.[7] AbFad writes and records Afro-pop music but is also known to write and record hip-hop records that fit into the USA Market such as the "Rock Star Remix by Post Malone".[8]

AbFad's first single was of the Ep "Keep On Moving", produced by Paolo Franzene in 2011, which included songs like; "Butterfly", "Keep On Moving" and "Have You Ever". Between this period and 2012 AbFad came out with other songs where he remixed tracks such as Davido's hit single; "Back when" in which AbFad wrote a Gospel twist to the major artists hit record and shot a music video to it. in 2014 AbFad released his single titled: "Miss Klara"; a love song that has a traditional storyline to it showing the African Culture and the uniqueness of Marraige. In 2015 AbFad made his official entrance into the Afropop scene when he featured One of Nigeria's biggest star; McGalaxy in the record titled; "Sugar Banana", the song made its way to "Lnda Ikeji's" blog, who happens to be one of Africas Richest and well known blogger. From there the video and song made its way to other local blogs and Tv station across Africa. In June of 2017 AbFad was invited to attend the 2017 BET INTERNATIONAL AWARD SHOW hosted in LA California. currently AbFad is still pursuing his music career and is currently stationed in Atlanta where he also opened his music video company called Fadika Empire LLC.
