Alekos "Alex" Andreopoulos (born August 19, 1972) is a Canadian former professional baseball catcher, and is currently the bullpen catcher of the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball (MLB). He attended Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey.
Alex was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 17th round (460th overall) of 1995 MLB Draft. He never played an MLB game, spending his entire 8 year career in various levels of the minor leagues. After 5 years in the Milwaukee Brewers system, he left for independent baseball, but returned shortly after. He finished his playing days as an Ottawa Lynx player. Though he was primarily a catcher, he appeared in two games as a first baseman and one game as a third baseman.
