Aminu Umar (born 6 March 1995, abuja) is a Nigerian football forward who currently plays for Samsunspor in the TFF 1. Lig.[1]

Wikki Tourists[edit | hide | edit source]

In 2012-2013 season Umar has scored one league goal for Wikki Tourists in the Nigeria Premier League the top league of Nigerian football.[2][3]

Samsunspor[edit | hide | edit source]

Umar joined Turkish club Samsunspor from Wikki Tourists in the 2013 summer transfer season at age 18.[4] He scored four league goals in his first season and established himself as the club's preferred striker in place of his compatriot Ekigho Ehiosun.[5][6]

Umar has played for the Nigeria national under-20 football team. He was the leading scorer in the 2013 African youth championship with four goals and scored twice at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup finals in Turkey.[7]
