Bit Store[edit | hide | edit source]
In 2014, Apple removed the Blockchain wallet app from its iOS App Stores, leaving iPhone and iPad users with no native bitcoin wallet options for their devices. Two months after Blockchain's removal from the App Store, DeSantis revealed that his development team, Avalonic, had found a novel workaround to Apple's bitcoin wallet ban and strict App Store regulations: Its own native app store that allows users to download and install Bitcoin-related applications on iOS. The team also announced a standalone bitcoin wallet app.
