Bit Store[edit | hide | edit source]

In 2014, Apple removed the Blockchain wallet app from its iOS App Stores, leaving iPhone and iPad users with no native bitcoin wallet options for their devices.[3] Two months after Blockchain's removal from the App Store, DeSantis revealed that his development team, Avalonic, had found a novel workaround to Apple's bitcoin wallet ban and strict App Store regulations: Its own native app store that allows users to download and install Bitcoin-related applications on iOS. The team also announced a standalone bitcoin wallet app.[4]
